The Boles family has been and continues to be active leaders in Round Rock and Williamson County. Their commitment to the community in which they live and work is evident through the many volunteer hours they give in service to the City of Round Rock and to families and youth of the community.
Jim has been active in the leadership of Round Rock and Williamson County since in the 1980’s and has served as Chair of Round Rock’s Economic Development Committee on numerous occasions, was a founding board member and past chairman of the Greater Williamson County YMCA, was Past chair of Round Rock Transportation Committee, and is a founding member and Vice-chair of the Greater Round Rock Community Foundation. Jim was honored by the Round Rock Chamber of Commerce in 2001 as Round Rock Citizen of the Year and in 2012 with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Russ has closely followed in Jim’s footsteps in his commitment to service. Currently Russ serves on the Round Rock Planning & Zoning Commission, Round Rock Public Housing Board , and Capital Area Council of Governments (CACOG). Russ is Co-Chairman of the Future Fund Giving Circle and is a board mmber of the Round Rock YMCA
